"My fiancé and I had the most incredible stay at Emma's B&B a few years ago. We think of it often, and truly regard it as one of the highlights of our trip throughout Sweden. Elina made us the most wonderful fish stew, which was heavenly after our long, snowy drive. She was kind enough to share the recipe and it has since become one of our regulars. In fact, I was thinking fondly on our experience at Emma's just now because I am making the stew tonight :-)"

"We stayed here for 2 nights in a nice spacious house with only 5 rooms. We were received by the friendly landlady who runs the place. The house is well situated on the golf course and there is a footpath to the harbor of Strömstad near a big hotel. From there one can take a small self service ferry to the city center. The B&B is very clean. Downstairs a large sitting room & lounge. Upstairs 3 small bedrooms and 2 larger ones. Although the rooms are small everything is there including wonderful beds. Outside a large sun deck overlooking the golf course. The landlady is very nice and give each guest personal attention. So we recommend this place as a good alternative for a larger hotel as here you get the individual treatment which is like a warm bath."
